Thursday Night: Candybar + KungFuTacos + Yelp = ???

Although we haven’t been shy about our love of spotting the Kung Fu Taco Truck parked in front of Candybar on Tuesdays/Thursdays, the jury’s still out on whether the confluence of a neighborhood favorite with the Yelp crowd will lead to an EPIC happy hour or miserable crowds and food poisoning. (Note! As far as I’m aware no one has received food poisoning from Kung Fu Tacos, only Yelp events.)

As we’ve mentioned before, Candybar’s happy hour pushes $2 pacificos, $3 sangrias, and $4 sparkling cocktails, while Kung Fu Tacos slings Korean BBQ on tortillas and prices range from $2.5 – $3.5 depending on your meat [or non-meat] choice. (PRO-TIP: go for the duck or the pork.)
